Apple MacBook Air, thinnest notebook comes to India19 February 2008 Apple has launched the world's thinnest notebook MacBook Air in the Indian market. The notebook, sporting a price tag of Rs 96,100, is undoubtedly the thinnest with a 13" display and a convenient full size keyboard. The notebook measures all of 0.16 inches at its thinnest point and has a height of 0.76 inches. The other features of the MacBook Air include a 13.3 inch LED backlit widescreen display, a full size backlit keyboard, a built in camera for video conferencing and a track pad with multi touch gesture support. Migration Assistant software that helps users to transfer files and applications from old Mac to the new MacBook Air over the wireless easily has been incorporated in the new device. Powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with 4 MBI2 cache with 2GB memory, 80 GB 1.8- inch hard drive with latest 802.11N Wi-Fi network and five hour battery life and Bluetooth, the MacBook Air sports a SuperDrive which is an external drive powered by a USB port, which frees its user to carry a separate power adapter. The MacBook Air also features an
updated iLife 08 which helps make
online photo and video sharing much
easier. Apple has kept its date with
