Maxx Mobile has released a teaser video of its latest phone called Maxx MA440, which is a low-end Android smartphone.
Maxx MA440 has come in response to the Micromax Andro A60 and would be competitive in pricing, OnlyGizmos reports. If this is true, then we estimate the MA440′s price to be between Rs. 6,500 – Rs. 7,500. rumor has it that the phone is meant for a immediate launch ad should hit the markets soon.
Maxx MA440 features a 3.1-inch capacitive display screen. It comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera and a mini USB port. There is no information on which version of Android it’s running, but it is rumored to be Android 2.1 aka Eclair.
The Indian market has been bombarded with Android phones. As many as 33 Android smartphones were launched in India in 2010. But this year we are witnessing more budgeted Android phones. Micromax Andro A60 is priced for Rs. 6,699. The Micromax phone has excellent features considering its price range. It has a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen display and a 3.15-megapixel camera with auto focus. It is powered by a processor that can run at a speed of 600MHz. A60 uses Android 2.1.
