Logitech MK 700 desktop wireless keyboard-mouse set announced

Logitech is all set to launch a new wireless desktop keyboard-mouse set, the Logitech MK700. This is another unique addiction to the company’s hardware line-up.

The Logitech MK700 comes with a small LCD screen that displays information about the battery status. The company claims that the keyboard will last up to three years without a recharge.

The mouse will last for twelve months, the company says.

In order to provide the users with comfort, the keyboard comes with concave Incurve keys to help user put fingertips in correct contact with the keys.

The keyboard also features a cautioned palm rest to allow users to work for long hours without pain in the fingers. The keys are concave, low-profile and softly rounded.

“If you spend hours in front of your computer each week and are looking for a way to be more comfortable and productive, you should consider the newly announced Logitech Wireless Desktop MK 700 mouse-and-keyboard combination,” said devices VP Rory Dooley.

The mouse of the Logitech Desktop MK 700 comes with a scroll wheel that can be allows user to set it accordingly for hyper-fast scrolling and easy navigation through websites and slides.

The Logitech MK700 uses the 128 bit AES encryption for security. The range of the set extends to 30 feet.

The wireless keyboard that uses the 2.4 GHz wireless technology would hit the stores in August 2009, and is priced at $100.
