LG X130 notebook launched in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, Middle East

LG launched it third notebook, the LG X130, after the LG X110 and LG X120, on August 13, 2009.

The LG X130 notebook, that is similar to the LG X110 and the LG X120 notebooks, comes with a 9-cell battery that is not available in the former two.

LG claims that the battery lasts for up to 12 hours.

The LG X130 notebook has a 10.1-inch display screen with  resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WIFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and Windows XP Home Edition.

The notebook runs on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU.

The LG X130 notbook’s dimensions are 10.3? x 7.1? and width of 1.06? and x 27 x 1.93?. The LG X130 will come in three colours, pink, black, and white.

The notbook has a dedicated key that allows users to access the Splashtop-based Smart-On operating system, which is said to start in less than 7 seconds.

The LG X130 notbook will be launched across 30 countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East at a price of 789,000 Korean Won (£385, $640, €448).

It will be launched in the US at a later date.

LG has launched the LG X120 and the LG X130 notebooks in Jordan and Iraq on August 16, 2009.

The LG X 120 is already available in Jordan and Iraq, while the LG X130 is expected to hit the stores shortly.
