LG has announced the launch of its LG Shine II, the successor of its successful LG Shine, via AT&T.The phone will be available across AT&T stores at a price of $119.99 after a mail-in rebate, from November 22, 2009.

The LG Shine 2 has a sliding form factor and a full metal body made of stainless steel.
In terms of design, the LG Shine 2 looks almost the same as the LG Shine with a few minor differences. The LG Shine 2 measures 104.5 x 49.5 x 13.2 mm and weighs 98 grams, slightly longer and lighter than the LG Shine, which measures 99.8 x 50.6 x 13.8 mm and weighs 119 g.
Like the LG Shine, the LG Shine 2 has a 2-inch wide mirror LCD screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The LG Shine comes with a 2-megapixel camera with flash and video recording capability.
It has not been revealed if the LG Shine 2 will come with Schneider-Kreuznach optics and autofocus, like the LG Shine.

The LG Shine 2 features an image editor (also featured in the LG Shine) that enables users to resize, crop, rotate, color adjust photos, insert fun frames and produce mirror effects, Samsung said in a press release.
Other features of the phone include GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and microSD card support.
The phone supports AT&T Navigator for up-to-date traffic information, traffic monitoring, and turn-by-turn directions.
Multimedia features include supports for MPEG4, H.263, H.264 video formats and MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA audio formats.
