LG has previewed a couple of its high-end LED-based LCD TV sets and a home theater audio system ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month. The two TVs, namely LG LW9500 and LG LW7700, utilize LG’s new Nano Lighting Technology.
The technology offers LED backlight dimming and creates an image that is much brighter and more uniform as compared to edge lighting. An Anti-Reflection Panel on the screen minimizes reflection from external light sources, including sunlight, to provide a crystal clear picture. Combining superior picture quality with an alluring design, these models promise to deliver perfect visual harmony. Related: LG Infinia 72LEX9 3D LED TV

LG LW9500 and LG LW7700 offer digital focus capability and can upscale MP3 tracks. They feature both 3.5mm headphone and a USB port to play MP3 and WMA audio directly from a device. In addition, the TVs come with a subwoofer, which is wireless and separate. The entire array carries two optical inputs with support for AAC audio embedded in MPEG-2 videos.
