To increase their sales and observing the trend of increased market demand for low end-mobile phones, LG introduced two new handsets, the all new LG GB106 and LG GB110.

With some splendid features and offering good value for the money, new mobile phones are set to hit the market in the first quarter of 2009.
Both LG GB106 and LG GB110 cell phones reveal good form factor and offer 1.5 inch, 65 k color display interface. Both these handsets come with built-in FM radios, which allow you to tune in to your favorite radio channel without having the need to connect it with a headphone.
The LG GB106 has 1 MB of user memory and has a 950 mAh Li-Ion battery giving it up to 400 hours of standby time and 4 hours of talk time on a charge. It also has a five way Directional navigation pad. Built in applications in the LG GB106 are a stopwatch, an organizer, world time and some embedded games.
The LG GB110 is equipped with a MicroSD card which offers 2 GB of memory. It also has a VGA camera and MP3 player – the rest of the features are the same as those available .
The LG GB 106 is the more economical of the two. LG has not revealed the price tags to these new low end cell phones yet, though the phones are expected to be available in the by the end of January 2009.
