Electronics behemoth LG is all set to unveil its new LG-KC780 8 Megapixel Camera Phone in the market soon. It is expected that the European mart would get the model first. LG has not announced any price for the KC 780 so far. However, it is expected that as it comes without 3G, built in WiFi and GPS, the price of LG KC780 will be lower than other 8 MP camera phones.

Not that the phone is a cheapo model. The new LG-KC780 8 model is being tipped as an amazingly feature-rich phone, which boasts of an eight megapixel resolution camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens for better quality and sharpness of images. A SmartLight setting for bright condiitions and a built-in image stabilizer add to the phone’s charm. Whats more, the device’s camera also comes with various add ons such as face detection technology, easy-to-use shot modes, smile shot, beauty mode and smile detection technology.
Another important fact about the phone is that it can also be used as a webcam for online video chatting. Measuring all of 4.2 x 2 x 0.5 inches and weighing about 4.2 ounces, the new LG-KC780 8 Megapixel Camera Phone also incorporates a 2.4” LCD screen, Smart Bluetooth, Motion Sensor Games, LG’s SmartLight setting, Image Stabilizer and D1 Video recording to capture DVD-resolution video.
LG top officials, while talking prior to the launch of the LG-KC780 phone, said that the idea of launching such a feature rich device arose after realizing that most of the time people use the cameras on their mobile phones to take pictures of themselves, their families, friends and significant others. The new LG-KC780 8 Megapixel Camera Phone has been built with this in mind and has incorporated a number of face-enhancing features to augment its high quality 8 megapixel camera.
While Europe’s markets are already set to receive the new hand-held, feature-rich device, the company has not yet revealed the price it would carry. Post Europe launch, it is expected that the company would take the phone to India and, Thailand, Hong Kong and China.
