LG GW300 low-end mobile phone to be launched soon

South Korean mobile phone maker, LG is all set to launch its new handset, the LG GW300.

The LG GW300 is not a Windows Mobile Smartphone.

The LG GW300 is a low-end messaging handset that features a QWERTY keyboard and a 2.4-inch QVGA display that supports 2.5G GSM and GPRS/EDGE connectivity.

Features of the LG GW300 mobile phone include Bluetooth, built-in Facebook, email facility, and USB mass storage mode.

In fact, the USP of the LG GW300 mobile phone is its Facebook focus. Aimed at Facebook users, this low-end mobile phone allows Facebook users to poke their friends and leave messages on their walls with ease.

The LG GW300 mobile phone comes without Wi-fi or 3G. However, the phone sports an MP3 player and offers MMS and SMS functionality.

The phone will come with a camera but the company has not provided any specifications about the power of the camera.

The company has not revealed all the specifications of the phone as yet.

It is yet to be seen how much the phone would cost but it definitely wouldn’t be expensive. There is no information available on when the LG GW300 will come to India or its price in the Indian market.

LG electronics is currently on a launch spree. It recently announced the launch of the latest model in its popular Black Label Chocolate series line-up, the LG BL40.

The LG BL40 is a smartphone with a large 4-inch display and an aspect ratio of 21:9.

LG has also launched its LG ApplicatLion Store that it plans to launch in Asia-Pacific, Europe and South America towards the end of 2009.
