LG has announced its latest full touchscreen phone, the LG GD880 Mini smartphone.The phone comes with a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and and resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The phone measures 102.1 x 47.8 x 10.5 mm and weighs 92 g.

Its screen extends all the way to the edges of the phone, with no buttons at the bottom of the screen. The phone runs LG’s latest S-Class operating system and comes integrated with Facebook and Twitter social networking sites.
There is a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, geotagging, advanced face detection, Smile Shot, and video recording at 15 fps.
Connectivity specifications of the LG GD880 Mini include Bluetooth v 2.1 with A2DP, HSPA support, WiFi, GPS and A-GPS with 7.2 Mbps, and 3.5-mm audio jack.
The multimedia specs of the phone are good. There is built-in FM radio, support for various music and video formats, DivX/XviD support, and Dolby mobile.

Other details of the phone are yet to come out, but it looks like it will be available in Europe from March onwards. There is also no information on its cost.
LG GD880 Mini smartphone supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 1900/2100 MHz, EDGE class 10 and an HSDPA of 7.2 Mbps.
The phone comes with 330MB internal memory and microSD card slot, and is powered by a 900 mAh battery.
The phone is expected to land in Europe, in March 2010. There is no word on the price of the LG GD880 Mini.
