LG electronics has launched its much talked about eight-megapixel camera phone, the LG GC900 Viewty Smart in India.

The LG GC900 Viewty Smart will be available at a price of Rs 27500 in retail outlets across India.
Along with a powerful LED Flash and a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display the eight-megapixel camera phone also feature the S-class 3D interface.
Being a camera-centric phone, the LG GC900 Viewty Smart is loaded with number of camera applications.
The LG GC900 Viewty Smart camera phone comes with a new Intelligent Shot Mode feature that allows the camera to analyze the subject, background, and lighting conditions adjust the camera setting after comparing the data against seven pre-programmed scenarios.
With this feature users do not need to check settings before taking a photo. They also get to see exactly how the camera is analyzing a particular scene with real-time indicator bars.
LG has said that LG GC900′s Intelligent Shot mode feature is a first for a camera phone and only available from LG.
Other camera centric applications are Xenon Flash, image stabilizer, face tracking option, light sensitivity up to ISO 1600.
With a 800 x 480 pixel screen resolution, you can watch full screen divx movies with Dolby music, and also your video recorded flicks.
The LG GC900 Viewty Smart is only 12.4mm thick and weighs 102 grams which makes the phone pretty easy to handle.
The phone is available in a brushed metallic finish. The phone also sports in built Wi-Fi, FM with RDS, Quad band GPS, microSHDC card up to 32GB, GPS and an accelerometer.
The phones comes with a a 1.5 GB internal memory that is expandable to a whopping 32 GB via the Micro SD card slot available.

The LG GC900 Viewty Smart phone will take on other 8-megapixel camera phones in the market, such as the Samsung Pixon, Sony Ericsson W995, and the Nokia N86 phone.
The phone was launched in Europe in May 2009, and in the US via Orange.
