LG has come up with a new mobile phone, the C900k Quantum. The mobile phone will reach stores in the month of November, most likely in time for Diwali.

A key feature of the phone is its QWERTY key pad placed just under the screen. The QWERTY keypad opens with a sliding motion to give the phone a stylish look. The phone also features a 4.9 mega pixel camera with optical zoom, which should make for some sharp pictures.

Essentially, the LG C900k Quantum mobile is a touchscreen phone that has a 3.5 inch TFT display screen. The screen has a resolution of about 480 x 800 pixels. The C900k Quantum is a fairly large but flat phone, measuring 59 x 119 x 15 mm and weighs 175 grams.

The Quantum mobile comes with a built-in GPS and 256 MB RAM. Other features of the phone include Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio and USB 2.0 port. The phone is equipped with a 1500 mAh battery that claims to have decent battery life.

LG has not revealed the price of the handset yet. But it should be available at a reasonable price to compete with other players in the market. Since, it will be launched during the Diwali month; buyers would look forward to get the phone in a good deal.
