On September 28, 2009, LG has launched its second LG Chocolate phone, the LG BL20, after the launch of the LG BL40, in early September 2009.The LG BL20 Chocolate phone, that comes in a sliding form factor, will be available in the UK for €269 ($394), via O2.

The phone has a 2.4-inch QVGA display screen with 240 × 320 resolution and a red keypad, with touch-sensitive keys, below the display.
“Standing proudly alongside the BL40, the BL20 expands the Chocolate series with a beautiful but practical slider option reflecting our leadership in design,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
The LG BL20 Chocolate phone has a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, Schneider-Kreuznach lens, and built-in LED flash. The LG BL20 Chocolate phone comes with a new feature, Clear Memo Capture, that can take pictures of text, notes, and drawings with clarity, the company has claimed.

Touch-sensitive controls placed on the sides of the LG BL20 Chocolate phone, allow users to control functions such as volume control and camera zoom, with ease.
Other features include Widget Hotkeys, located at the lower right corner of the phone, that allows users to personalize the phone as desired.

Multimedia features include integrated FM radio, MP3 player, and support for WMA, AMR, MIDI, AAC, AAC +, MP3, 3GP formats.
The dimensions of the 119 gm-LG BL20 Chocolate phone are 106.9 x 50.8 x 12.3mm.
The phone comes with a 900mAh battery, that offers stand-by time up to 450 hours and talk time up to 240 minutes.
The LG BL20 has 8GB of internal memory, expandable to 16GB using microSD cards.
There is no information available as to when the LG BL20 will come to the US or India. Currently, the LG KG800, that was launched in 2006, is available in India.
