Lava B8 dual SIM phone available for Rs. 3,999

Lava Mobiles has introduced a new dual SIM (GSM+GSM) mobile phone in India namely, Lava B8. Lava B8 comes with QWERTY keypad and trackpad. It’s a business phone, priced at Rs. 3,999.

Lava B8 features 3.2-megapixel camera with flash that renders a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. For connectivity, the B8 supports Bluetooth A2DP and WiFi-WLAN and also features Push e-mail. Lava B8 operates on GSM : 900/1800 MHz frequency and supports GPRS/EDGE technologies. For Internet browsing, the B8 features Opera Mini Web browser. It has a TFT display screen that offers 320 x 240 pixels resolution, 65K colors. Moreover, the B8 dual SIM phone comes loaded with audio and video player as well as FM radio. You also get a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Other features of Lava B8 dual SIM phone include MP3 and polyphonic ringtones. It has a microSD card slot that supports upto 16 GB data. It packs in a 1400mAh battery. The full QWERTY keypad allows easy and quick messaging as the keys are rightly placed. The phone records incoming and outgoing calls automatically.

Dual SIM handsets are becoming increasingly popular in India. Lava Mobiles has been offering really cheap dual SIM handsets in the country. One such phone is Lava KKT 30, which was launched last year.

Micromax GC275 GSM+CDMA dual SIM phone is a popular one that comes at a price of Rs 3200 only. This phone has a 4.4-cm TFT display that renders up to 65,000 colors. Apart from the customary stereo FM feature, audiophiles get a preloaded music player that supports audio files in multiple formats such as MP3, AMR, MIDI, WAV, etc.

Spice launched a phone named QT-56, which is a flexi dual-SIM device that gives one the option of going in for either a GSM+CDMA or GSM+GSM combination. It comes with a QWERTY keypad and a 2.2-inch TFT display that renders a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. It has a Bluetooth too and packs in a 1000mAh battery that ensures talk time of up to 3 hours.
