JVC Japan has announced the JVC Everio GH-HD620 camcorder in Tokyo on December 8, 2009. The company claims that the JVC Everio GH-HD620 camcorder is the world’s smallest and lightest camcorder.

The camcorder measures 53 x 63 x 115 mm and weighs only 270 gms. It comes in three colors, Black, Red, and Silver.
The JVC Everio GH-HD620 camcorder has a 2.7-inch LCD screen and 1/4.1” 3.32-megapixel CMOS sensor with 30x optical zoom, 200x digital zoom, and Backside Illumination (BSI).
There is AVHCD, 120GB internal memory, HDMI port, USB port, and microSD/SDHC slot. The JVC Everio GH-HD620 camcorder features MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video format support, Dolby Digital 2ch audio, component output, and AV output.
The camcorder will be available in stores in Japan from December 9, 2009, at a price of $1,240.
A few days ago, JVC had announced three new camcorders, the JVC GZ-MG980, GZ-MS230 and GZ-MS210.
The JVC GZ-MG980 camcorder comes with a 1/6”10.7-megapixel, CCD sensor, 720 x 480 resolution, 39x optical zoom, SD/SDHC slot, and 80GB hard disk drive.
The camcorder sports a 2.7-inch wide LCD display (16:9), measures 53×63×115 mm and weighs 290g with battery.
The JVC Everio GZ-MG980 is available for $690.
The second camcorder, the JVC Everio GZ-MS230 has similar specs as that of the JVC Everio GZ-MG980 except that it comes with only 8GB HDD. It measures 52×62×115 mm and weighs only 230g with battery. The JVC Everio GZ-MS230 camcorder is available at a price of $515.
The JVC Everio GZ-MS210 camcorder has the same specifications as that of the other two camcorders but it has no internal memory. It is the smallest of the three with dimensions of 52×110×62 mm and weighs only 230g, including the battery. The JVC Everio GZ-MS210 camcorder retails at a price of $460.
