Intex launches IN 3080E dual SIM phone with e-book reader

Intex, the manufacturer of a range of affordable computer accessories, has launched its new dual SIM (GSM+GSM) slider phone Intex IN 3080E in India.

Most low-end phones now offer dual SIM capability to tap into the high demand in India. It is priced at an affordable Rs. 3,490.

The Intex IN 3080E has a 2.4-inch TFT display. The phone, though targeted at the low-end of the market, has a built-in e-book reader – something you find only in phones that cost Rs 8,000 and above. Related: Intex IN6622, iSmart dual-SIM phones unveiled

Apart from that, the Intext dual SIM mobile phone has standard features that phones in this range offer. It has an audio chip from Yamaha and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for wireless music connectivity.

It is an easily pocketable phone, with dimensions of 101x49x16.8mm. The Intex IN 3080E the phone offers easy navigation for easy access to music access keys.

You can access the internet easily, as the phone supports GPRS, WAP connectivity. There is a USB port for easy file transfer. Other feaures include FM radio and a camera. Moreover, it comes with a 900 mAh battery that provides 4 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time.

The phone offers an interesting feature of auto call record can be used to record all conversations and has a capacity of storing 200 SMS and 500 phonebook contact.
