Inbrics M1 Android smartphone unveiled at CES 2010

Inbrics has unveiled its MID M1 Android smartphone at the CES, 2010.

The Inbrics MID M1 slider smartphone has a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels and a full QWERTY keyboard.

The phone has a 3-megapixel camera at the back, VGA camera on the front, 16 GB integrated memory that is expandable via MicroSD card, and VoIP capability.

The Inbrics MID M1 is powered by a 833 MHz Cortex A-8 processor and runs Android 1.5 as of now that will likely be bumped up to Android 2.0 in the near future.

Connectivity features of the phone include GPS, WiFi with specifications of 802.11n, Bluetooth, and 3G or WIMAX capabilities.

The phone leverages the Android platform to offer what the company calls, Convergence One or “3 Screen Plus”, that allows customers to share and access data across a variety of devices, such as a mobile phone, TV, laptops and so on.

There is an HDMI attachment that allows users to view videos on their televisions.

“We believe that the future will dictate seamless single device applications for the consumer, which is why we are committed to the media convergence space.Our goal was to create a more intuitive experience that every consumer could benefit from,” Bobby Cha, chief marketing officer at Inbrics said.

Inbrics wil launch the MID M1 Android smartphone in the US, mid-2010 or early 2011.
