There is some new information about the upcoming HTC Whitestone, that will be launched via Verizon as the HTC Whitestone XV6975, available on the internet.

The HTC Whitestone or the Verizon HTC Whitestone XV6975 is expected to be released between September – October 2009.
wmexperts.com has said that the Verizon HTC Whitestone XV6975 phone features a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen with a 400 X 480 pixel screen resolution.
The phone is said to come with a 5-megapixel autofocus, anti-handshaking camera, GPS, with support for CDMA and GSM networks.
The Verizon HTC Whitestone XV6975 smartphone will be driven by a Qualcomm 7600 processor, 528MHz processor, and come with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM.
Another report says that the Verizon HTC Whitestone XV6975 will come with Windows Mobile 6.1 and not Windows Mobile 6.5.
Some information has been leaked about the HTC Mega as well.
The phone is said to be low-end version of the HTC Whitestone XV6975. The HTC Mega will share some features with the phone, but will have a a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen compared to the 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen that the HTC Whitestone XV6975 will sport.
It will have a three-megapixel fixed-focus model, and will support GSM, EDGE and HSDPA only.
The HTC Mega will run on Qualcomm 7225@ 528 MHz and come with 256 MB ROM/256MB RAM.
