HTC Tera phone launch in early 2010
According to the leaked information about HTC’s line-up of phones for the first half of 2010, the eighth phone that the company will launch is the HTC Tera, that falls into the productivity category.There are two other phones in the productivity category that will be launched in 2010, the HTC Photon and the HTC Trophy.

The HTC Tera is a landscape-oriented slider phone measuring 115 x 53 x 15.5 mm.
The phone will have a 3.0-inch WQVGA resistive touchscreen and a 3.2-megapixel pixel camera with autofocus.
The HTC Tera will come with HTC’s proprietary TouchFLO 3D user interface, which allows users to use finger gestures to browse through their list of contacts, photos, web pages, and navigate through programs and applications.
There is also HTC’s Straight Talk Lite technology using which users can switch between conference calls, single calls, and emails.
The HTC Tera is powered by a 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, and runs the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. The phone packs 512 MB ROM and 256 MB RAM.
The phone works on WCDMA/HSPA at 900/2100 MHz and GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networks.
The HTC Tera offers 802.11 b/g WLAN, Bluetooth v 2.1 with EDR, GPS, and assisted GPS.
As far as broadband speeds go, the HTC Tera offers up to 2 Mbps up-link speed and 7.2 Mbps down-link speeds.
Other technical specifications of the HTC Trophy include Auto speaker phone, FM Radio, Motion G-Sensor, 3.5-mm jack, MicroUSB, and Business Card Scanner.
HTC will launch seven other phones, in the lifestyle, social networking, performance, and productivity categories.
