Among the plethora of Android phones that HTC will launch in 2010, there is the HTC Buzz, a social networking and apps phone, that will be launched in May 2010.

The HTC Buzz has slightly more interesting features compared to that of the other social networking phone that HTC plans to launch, the HTC Tide.
For one, the HTC Buzz has a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and geo-tagging.
TheĀ HTC Buzz comes with an intuitive user interface called the HTC Sense, that was first introduced in the HTC Hero. It also allows users to customise the home screen by downloading designs or creating their own designs using photos that they have captured.
There are widgets that users can employ to set twitter feeds, facebook updates, or email on the home screen.
The HTC Sense user interface also enables users to see contact information, twitter updates, history of calls, SMS, photos, and emails of a particular contact, in one single view.
The HTC Buzz measures 105 x 60 x 11 mms and is powered by the Qualcomm MSM7225 528-MHz processor.
The phone comes with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB flash. The HTC Buzz works on WCDMA/HSPA at 900/2100 MHz and GSM/EDGE at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
The HTC Buzz promisesĀ 2 Mbps up-link speed and 7.2 Mbps down-link speeds.
Other features include a trackball control option, 802.11 b/g WLAN, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, GPS, assisted GPS, and microSD memory card.
There is also a 3.5-mm jack, G-Sensor, Microsoft Exchange, Google Mobile Services, and Footprints v1.5, and Friendstream.
The HTC Buzz will be launched in April 2010. The other phones in HTC’s 2010 line-up of Android phones include lifestyle phones, such as the HTC Legend and the HTC Salsa, social networking phones, such as the HTC Tide, and performance phones such as the HTC Bravo.
The HTC Legend and the HTC Salsa are lifestyle phones that will be launched in March-April 2010.
