The account can also be used to suggest new printing applications, comment on existing ones and subscribe to news feeds from HP.
The HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One printer is built for the Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.6, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP (SP2) or higher versions. The printer can be accessed using smartphones such as the BlackBerry and HP iPAQ. The device is black; costs Rs 7,570; and to save on packaging material HP will ship it in reusable bags.

Cloud computing from HP

Another cloud printer from HP is the iPrint Photo, a photo printing application that can be accessed through smartphones. The app for this printer can be downloaded from Apple’s App store for the iPhone and iPod touch. It is available for devices running Windows Mobile via the Windows Marketplace, for Symbian devices from the Nokia Ovi store and for Android devices via the Android Market website. This printer is cheap and is said to consume 30% less energy than standard desk printers. HP also has an online photo sharing site Snapfish where users can maintain albums and make posters, calendars etc.
