HP Compaq Presario CQ61z netbook, 4010f, 500B desktop PCs launched

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has revealed a new range of low-cost Compaq netbooks and PCs.These include the Compaq Presario CQ61z notebook PC, Compaq Presario 4010f desktop PC, and Compaq 500B and 505B Series desktop PCs.

The HP Compaq Presario products will be available from October 22, 2009.

The HP Compaq Presario CQ61z notebook PC has a 15.6-inch has a diagonal display screen with 16:9 ratio. The notebook has a piano black finish with a silver panel covering the palmrest and touch pad.

The HP Compaq Presario CQ61z is powered by a MD Sempron processor and has 2GB RAM and 160GB HDD.

The notebook runs Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

Other features include built-in Nvidia graphics,  six-cell lithium-ion battery, and a CD/DVD burner.

The HP Compaq Presario CQ61z will be available at a price of $399.


HP Compaq Presario 4010f desktop PC

The HP HP Compaq Presario 4010f desktop PC is powered by an AMD Sempron processor.

It has a 250 gigabyte (GB)(2) hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce integrated graphics, and is capable of storing up to 49,000 songs or 39,000 photos.

The PC does not come with a monitor but customers can go for Compaq’s 17-inch monitor by paying $119 over and above the price of the pC.

The HP Compaq Presario 4010f desktop PC will be available at a price of $309.

HP Compaq 500B and 505B Series desktop PCs

The HP Compaq 500B and 505B desktop PCs are powered by Intel and AMD processors, respectively.

The PCs run the Windows 7 operating system.

The HP Compaq Presario 500B and 505B desktop PCs will be available at a price of $359 and $409, respectively.
