Japanese company Hitachi has launched its new network projector, the CP-X3010N 3LCD projector, an advanced version of the existing Hitachi CP-X3010 that the company launched some time back.
Most of the features in the Hitachi CP-X3010N network projector are the same as those of the CP-X3010. New features include an Ethernet port and 802.11g/n connectivity. With this new network projector, Hitachi has further expanded its line of Electronic products in the projector category.
John Glad, product manager at Hitachi said, “With the CP-X3010N being the networkable counterpart to the CP-X3010, Hitachi offers networking options for projectors of all sizes and applications.”
“In addition, with a variety of network-related functions proprietary to Hitachi, our networking capabilities are renowned in the industry,” he further added.
The Hitachi CP-X3010N 3LCD projector sports the new 100baseT Ethernet networking and offers a spectacular 3,000 lumens of brightness. A contrast ratio of 2,000:1 and integrated 16W speakers would perhaps attract a good number of people.
The projector boasts of a lamp life of 3,000 hours in Standard Mode while 6,000 hours in Eco mode. The features also include two VGA-style 15-pin D-sub connectors, S video, component video and composite video.
The Hitachi CP-X3010N 3LCD projector provides a good viewing experience as it supports a 1024 x 768 resolution and gives the users a number of options with features like stereo mini-jack input and two RCA stereo audio inputs. One can connect a USB mouse and carry out the required tasks accordingly.
With these audio features one can place the projector in the standby mode and still listen to background audio. The projector has been so designed that it can be used by multiple users and synchronizes multiple projectors, thanks to Hitachi’s Projector Control and Projector Messenger applications.
The applications also allow users to control as many as 5 projectors simultaneously, using a remote.
The company’s Projector Management Application (PJMan) Version 7 also helps in analyzing projector usage and producing call tickets by gathering real-time and historical data hence providing AV/IT managers with an even higher number of options.
The price of the Hitachi CP-X3010N 3LCD projector has not been revealed by the company, but some reports have said that the projector is likely to cost $3395.
