Fly Mobile, a dual SIM mobile leader in Europe has launched its full touch-dual SIM phone now in India.

Fly Mobile announced Fly LINKZ (E145), the new messaging and social networking full touchscreen dual SIM phone which will be available at an affordable price of Rs 5,509 in India. Fly Mobile India is owned by the Meridian Group, which has its headquarters in UK. Fly Mobile has always priced its phones for the low end of the market, and the strategy seems to have worked for them. At a price of Rs 5,509 for a touchscreen, dual SIM, social networking enabled phone, the Fly LINK E145 is surely a tempting buy.
The Fly LINKZ (E145) touch phone mobile has a 3.2-inch WQVGA 262K color capable TFT touchscreen display with a 240 x 400 pixels screen resolution. This bar shaped handset comes with 107 x 49 x 8.9 mm dimensions and also includes a 2 megapixel camera. The E145 also features a video player, audio player, 3.5mm universal audio jack, FM radio,1150 mAH battery that offers 200 hours of standby time and six and a half hours of talk time. Accelerometer, motion sensor, handwriting recognition etc. are other features of the Fly LINKZ E145. We have a single photo of the Fly LINKZ here for you, the company does not seem to have sent out a press release and photos of their new dual sim touchscreen phone.
The Fly Linkz E145 comes complete with 8 MB of internal memory and has a microSD memory card slot for an expanded storage capacity of up to 8 GB, which allows 1000 entry phone book and as many as 800 messages in each SIM card. It comes with Bluetooth A2DP configuration and USB port that allows the user to transfer the data to other compatible devices wirelessly. The inbuilt GPRS gives high speed data transfer rates. It has a mobile tracker and a PC sync modem. The light weighted mobile phone is Java-enabled and runs Opera Mini browser.
Fly LINKZ is mainly targeted at the college and office-going youth living in the cities. “After the success of Fly Circle (B430 DS), our first all-in-one instant messaging and social networking phone, we decided to launch a full touch edition for the urban youth, who are more touch savvy,” says Prem Kumar, chief executive officer – India operations, Fly Mobile. “Earlier, with MC160 and E106, we had broken the touch phone price barrier. This is in perfect accordance with our philosophy of capturing not just the requirements but also the aspirations of the users,” adds he.
Fly LINKZ E145 is a new-generation mobile service designed for the online age and is supported by the award winning Nimbizz application for social networks and communities. It also features Snaptu, using which you can plug into Twitter, Facebook, Picasa, Flickr and Google Calendar. Snaptu keeps an update on cricket and football across the world and you can also get the latest updates from Reuters, BBC, New York Times, Yahoo etc. Nimbuzz offers live contact also such as always-on, hyper-connected, dynamic address book, status messages and social community activities.
