Fly C250 CDMA phone launched in India

Fly Mobile has unveiled its entry-level Fly C250 CDMA phone in India.The Fly C250 CDMA phone will be available across India at a price of Rs 4490.

Here are some main specifications of the phone. The Fly C250 CDMA phone measures 106×45×14.8mm and weighs 85 gms. It features a 2-inch display screen with a resolution of 176 x 200 pixels and 65k colors.

There is a basic 2-megapixel camera with digital zoom, EV to control brightness of images, and video recording capability.

The FLY C250 CDMA phone is powered by a Qualcomm’s QC1110 processor, and is the first phone to be based on the Qualcomm QC1110. The phone works on the 800Mhz CDMA network.

Multimedia features include FM radio, support for polyphonic and true ring tones in MP3, MIDI, AMR, AAC and AAC+ format, video player, audio player, and sound recording.

Apart from that, the Fly C250 CDMA phone features Bluetooth with A2DP, built-in modem, calendar, currency converter, Stop Watch, World Time, 5.5 MB internal memory expandable up to 8GB.

Another feature of the Fly C250 CDMA Phone is the File Manager feature that allows users to manage files in the phone memory and SD card memory. Users can create new files and folders, edit existing files, and send them via Bluetooth.

The 1000 mAh battery offers Standby time of seven days and a decent Talktime of eight hours.

In mid-November 2009, Fly Mobile had launched the Fly MC160 Touch and the Fly E106 Touch dual-sim touchscreen phones in India, at a price of Rs 6,000 and Rs 5,300, respectively.
