Denon, the audio equipment maker, has launched an affordable home theatre system in a box package – the DHT 1311XP.
This system, the DHT-1311XP, is said to be the Denon AVR-1311 audio player combined with the Denon SYS-391HT 5.1 speaker system.
The Denon DHT-1311XP consists of an HDMI 1.4a receiver with four outputs and one input. It is capable of playing high definition audio from Blu-ray players, latest gaming consoles and set top boxes. It is also compatible with 3D TV due to its Deep Color and xvColor 3D pass though capabilities.
This audio system from Denon produces high quality home cinema sound thanks Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio technologies. Also, Denon has embedded its Compressed Audio Restorer in this system to improve the sound of digital music files and produce dynamic sounds in detail. The Denon DHT-1311XP has 5 channels with 110W output and a power amplifier each. Because of these dedicated amplifiers, the quality of surround is said to be very good.
The 5.1 speaker system has two way front and centre speakers; two full range surround sound speakers; and for deep bass, it has a 100 W subwoofer in an 8 inch subwoofer driver that has recently been designed.
The Denon DHT-1311XP also has a 4 x HDMI in/1 x HDMI out repeater. It has direct mechanical ground construction for vibration resistance and delivers good quality sound in the medium to low range. The system has 8 cm bass-mid drivers, a 2.5 cm balanced dome tweeter and is fitted in a wooden cabinet.
Apart from supporting Blu-ray players and HD gaming consoles, the DHT-1311XP also has a stereo mini jack in the front to connect most portable media players to, as well as a Denon iPod dock control panel which makes it easy to connect iPods or iPhones to the DHT-1311XP and probably access them through the Denon’s display and remote control.
To be in stores around September, the Denon DHT-1311XP consumes very little power while on standby and will be priced around Rs 45,000.
