Accordingly, the magnetic sorm caused by this phenomenon is going to be the strongest since 1859, when a big solar storm affected the earth. At that time no harm was caused because there were no electrical/electronic installations on earth. But the activity is likely to be more fierce in 2011 and it can severely damage the electrical installations, and cause total failure of power supply, water supply, and communication network.
