With a huge CDMA mobile customer base, second only to the U.S., you would probably expect India to have plenty of CDMA phones with cutting-edge technology. Not so fast.
Leave alone Android 2.2 OS, forget about 3G capability, we tried to find CDMA phones in India with a basic touchscreen display, and quite frankly, were disappointed with the results. Apart from Samsung, LG and Motorola, no major cell phone player has good CDMA phones to offer to India, unlike in the U.S., where companies develop CDMA phones specifically for CDMA networks.
