Buffalo portable 8x DVD drive in India

Buffalo Inc., a manufacturer of wired and wireless gadgets, has introduced in India its MediaStation 8x Portable DVD Writer.“The drive is easy to carry and ideal for price-conscious consumers who want a high quality alternative to expensive options.” the company said.

The new portable DVD drive is both aesthetically and ergonomically well designed with inbuilt Nero data writing software suite for Windows and CyberLink DVD software suite for Windows.

This new drive is smaller and slimmer in comparison to their previous versions with 23% of cubic volume reduced. It comes in black and white models with a glossy look to its chassis.

“With PC penetration today reaching almost every household and becoming an integral part of not only work but also entertainment, the range of new optical devices like Buffalo’s portable DVD drive will act as a catalyst for users to use the PC more effectively,” said Hiroo Kanbe, Country Manager, Buffalo India.

The product will be available in India this month with a two-year warranty and toll-free customer service technical support number. The product can be purchased through dealers and distributors at an estimated price of Rs. 6,300/-.
