BlackBerry 9900 Pluto in the works?

After RIM’s BlackBery Storm 9530 phone, the BlackBerry 9900 Pluto has taken over the blogosphere.

Rumors say that RIM is working on the BlackBerry Pluto 9900 and also a new smartphone that will have a touch screen with a full QUERTY keyboard.

The BlackBerry Pluto 9900 phone will be similar to the BlackBerry Storm 9530 phone in terms of looks.

The BlackBerry 9900 Pluto phone will come with full support for American HSDPA airwaves, which means that the BlackBerry 9900 Pluto will not be limited to the 2100MHz band and will be able to work AT&T in the US and Roger Communications in Canada.

The Boy Genius blog has said that the BlackBerry 9900 Pluto phone will be announced at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium in May 2009.

The other rumor doing the rounds, is that RIM also plans to launch a new touch-screen BlackBerry with a full QWERTY key pad. This touch-screen BlackBerry is expected to look like the BlackBerry Curve and have most of the features of BlackBerry Bold 9000.

Reports say that the BlackBerry Bold 9000 will be launched on October 27, 2008, exclusively on AT&T.

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 will come with a newly designed full-QWERTY keyboard, tri-band HSDPA, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g), 624 MHz mobile processor, 128 MB Flash memory plus 1 GB on-board storage memory, display with 480×320px resolution,2MP camera with built-in flash and 5x digital zoom, microSD/SDHC memory card slot, and integrated GPS.

The BlackBerry Storm 9530 phone will be displayed at the BlackBerry Developers Conference, in Santa Clara California US, from the October 21 -  22, 2008.

The BlackBerry Storm 9530 phone will have CDMA and quad-band GSM, a click-touch screen with Haptic.

Apart from the BlackBerry Storm 9530, there are rumors that RIM will launch the BlackBerry Thunder 9500 in November 2008. The BlackBerry Thunder 9500 is expected to have only GSM, full touch screen BlackBerry with four physical keys, 8GB MicroSD card, visual voicemail, a 3.2 megapixel camera, auto flash, auto focus, and a full HTML browser.

The BlackBerry Storm 9530 is also expected to have 1400 mAh battery, 3.5mm jack, bluetooth stereo, Rhapsody OTA purchase with tethered subscription capability.
