Though it is not known how many songs will be featured, the companies said that the game would use music from throughout The Beatles’ career in the video game. The game is expected to use various songs including the popular song from The Beatles’ first album ‘Please, Please Me’, one for the last album ‘Abbey Road’ and many other compositions.
Significant about the whole development is the fact that the game has been creatively conceived by former Beatles Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and the wives of late Beatles John Lennon and George Harrison, Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison.
According to Sir Paul McCartney, the video game concept came about as a fun idea. So he decided to go for it. It is believed that The Beatles would appeal in the video game form to the new generation.

This apart, other bands such as Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and others have licensed their music to “Guitar Hero” or Rock Band, it said.
