Bang & Olufsen 46-inch BeoVision 10-46 LCD TV soon

Danish luxury electronics company Bang & Olufsen has announced a new 46-inch BeoVision 10-46 LCD television after its recent success with BeoVision 10-40. The Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10-46 TV is a 46-inch version of the BeoVision 10-40 LCD television ad features the same technical specifications.

The BeoVision 10-46 LCD television will be based on an LCD panel with Edge LED backlight, and will feature an integrated 200 Hz system.

The BeoVision 10-46 boasts of a brushed aluminum frame, and the 46-inch wall-mounted LCD flat screen packs a set of high-end, bottom mounted Bang & Olufsen speakers for a much better audio experience than your regular TV set.

“The audio system, scheduled for launch before the end of the financial year, will be delayed, though,” says Bang & Olufsen.

The Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10-46 television will be launched in select markets in April 2010. The company has not revealed any details of the price of the  Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10-46 TV. Expect it to be priced higher than the the 40-inch version that came with a price tag of $8700 in Europe, when it was launched in 2009.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Bang and Olfusen is collaborating with Asus on building the Asus NX90 hi-fi, dual-touchpad luxury laptop. It has been designed by B&O’s award-winning chief designer named David Lewis, reports say.

The Asus NX90 is said to have a polished aluminum exterior with a contrasting matte-black keyboard that is flanked by two touchpads.

The laptop will come with a 18.4-inch widescreen, completely covered in glass, at 1,920-by-1,080 1080P resolution. At the heart of the Asus NX90 laptop is the Intel Core i7 processor. The laptop will be equipped with a Nvidia GeForce GT 335M graphics card, dual hard drives, and a slot-load Blu-ray drive, reports say.

The laptop comes with a Rotation Desktop Control feature that offers two-handed control for media applications.

Pegged to be priced in the $1,799 to $2,499 range, the laptop is expected to be launched in March 2010.
