AT&T and HTC has announced the availability of the HTC Tilt 2 and the HTC Pure phones that will come pre-loaded with Windows® Mobile 6.5.

The HTC Tilt 2 phone has a high-resolution 3.6-inch wide-screen WVGA display, which can be tilted for better viewing, Slashphone has reported. The phone comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2-megapixel camera.
Other features include dual speakers and dual microphones with advanced noise cancellation, and HTC’s Straight Talk™ that enables conference calling and activation of the speakerphone by turning over the device, the company has said.
The HTC Pure has a 3.2-inch WVGA touch screen with a five-megapixel camera with auto focus, video capture, expandable memory, gravity sensor and an ambient light sensor.
Both the HTC Tilt 2 and the HTC Pure come with HTC’s enhanced TouchFLO 3D interface.
The HTC Pure is the AT&T variant of the HTC Touch Diamond 2 and the HTC Tilt 2 is their AT&T’s version of the HTC Touch Pro2, Slashphone has said.
The HTC Tilt 2 will be available, in October 2009, at a price of $299.99. Customers can pay $349.99 with a $50 mail-in-rebate and a two-year contract on a minimum $69.99 plan.
The HTC Pure is on sale at all AT&T retail stores worldwide at a price of $149.99.
Customers can pay $199.99 for the HTC Pure and avail of a $50 mail-in-rebate, and a two-year agreement on a minimum $69.99 plan.
AT&T has said that it will support Windows Marketplace for Mobile in 2009 that will allow customers to access and buy many applications on new AT&T devices, including the HTC PURE and HTC Tilt 2.
