It’s raining Sony Ericsson Xperia phones in India!
Online retailer Infibeam is already offering the phone at a discount price of Rs. 24,650. Expect further discounts from other retailers too once more shipments of the Neo’s start arriving.
The Xperia Neo is an Android version of Sony Ericsson’s Vivaz series of smartphones that were based on Symbian architecture. The Neo runs Android’s latest version for smartphones: Gingerbread.

The Neo has a 3.7-inch LED-backlit touchscreen display that renders a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The Xperia Neo features the goodness of Bravia video processing engine, the technology you find in high-end Bravia HDTVs. As such, you get vibrant and true-to-life colors on your Sony Ericsson phone.
The Xperia Neo touch phone comes with an 8.1-megapixel camera with Sony’s award-winning Exmor R for mobile image sensor. The same sensor powers Sony’s Cyber-shot range of digital cameras. At maximum aperture of f/2.4, more light reaches the image sensor and you can take great pictures in low-light conditions too.
