Both Airtel and Big Tv DTH is good for Bengali viewers not for Oriya. Because in their east – language pack the number of Benagli tv pay channels are 3 and fta channels are also 4. But in case of Oriya there is only one pay channel Etv – Oriya and one fta channel is Otv. Bengali viewers are really much more benefited rather than Oriya. Whenever there is a new branded regional tv channel comes in the market is introduce very fast in low carriage fees by these DTH companies to get more advantage and mileage from the market but in case of Oriya tv channels they have no such brand names like Zee, Star, IBN, NDTV, and Sahara etc, they have only popularity in the market that’s why these channels are simply rejected by these DTH companies. Because of this there are so many Oriya tv channels like Tarang Tv, Super Star Josh Tv, Tarang Music, Kamyab Tv, Kanak Tv, Maa Tv, and Naxatra News etc.are in waiting list from a long period. My request to Oriya viewers should strongly protest this issue and abstain to buy any product from these double standard characteristic DTH companies.
