Airfone Flip 29i, AF 26 and AF 31 launched in India

Airfone has launched three new entry-level dual-sim phones in the Indian market, Flip 29i, AF 26 and AF 31.Dual-sim phones are very popular in the Indian market. Recently, companies like Samsung, LG, Intex, Spice Mobile, and Fly Mobiles have launched dual-sim phones in India.

Vishal Chitkara , Director, Airfone, he said, “Our aim is to become one of top five handset companies in India. Our plan is to ensure that Airfone is known throughout India as a value phone brand. We plan to cover at least 80 percent of India by end of fiscal year 2009-10.”

The Airfone Flip 29i has a 2.6-inch touchscreen with handwriting support. The clamshell phone comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera and supports dual SIM connectivity.

The metallic silver phone also packs Bluetooth, MP3 player, video recorder, player, and GPRS. Accessories include 2GB microSD card available for roughly Rs 500, two batteries, one charger, earphones, and one USB data cable.

The phone will retail at a price of Rs 4,999.

The Airfone AF 26 that comes in a bar form factor has a 2.2-inch QVGA screen and VGA digital camera.

The phone, that will be available in only one color, Black, measures 109 x 46 x 14mm and weighs 110 gms with battery.

The phone supports dual-band connectivity.

Other features of the Airfone AF 26 include FM Radio, MP3, MP4 player, Bluetooth, speaker phone, GPRS, and 8GB expandable memory via MicroSD card.

The phone comes with a BL-5B Li-ion(1600mAh) that offers Talk time of 12 hours and Standby time of 15 days.

The Airfone AF 26 will be available at a price of Rs 2,999.

The dual-sim Airfone AF 31 allows users to choose from GSM + GSM and GSM + CDMA.

The phone has a 2.0-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 176 x 220. The AF 31 has a 0.3-megapxiel camera with audio and video recorder, torch, and an internal antenna. The phones comes with Stereo FM, MP3 and MP4 player, Bluetooth, GPRS support, USB, and 16GB expandable memory via microSD card.

The Airfone AF 31 comes with a BL-5C:950mA battery with Talk time of 3.7 hours and Standby time of 270h.

The phone will be available at a price of Rs 4,999.
