Some of us may remember the days when we stood patiently by a dot matrix printer as it screeched loudly, printing words dot by dot and line by line, taking its own sweet time to deliver a ream of paper with copy in a font that was just a shade better than a typewriter.
And some of us may not have even heard of dot matrix printers! In fact a band named ‘The User’ performed a symphony titled ‘Symphony for Dot Matrix Printers #2’ a few months ago, using only obsolete dot matrix printers. They’re so obsolete, that they’ve become an experiment in music!
But this article is not about dot matrix printers, it’s about printers that don’t just print (20-30 pages in one minute and photographs too) but scan (were talking high resolution here), copy (20-30 pages a minute) and fax (in seconds) and some can take commands from a smartphone even if you’re outside the city; but you knew that already…what you should also know is that they’re very affordable too.
