We have more details of the upcoming Android phone from Acer, the Acer Liquid A1. We have written about this phone earlier, but at that point, we did not know about the A1 nomenclature.
A few photos of the Acer Liquid A1 phone are also available right now.
The Acer Liquid A1 will run the latest Google android operating system with a custom user interface. Right now, we do not know what exactly this new user interface looks like, though. What we do know, is that the phone will come with a 3.5 inch WVGA capacitative touch screen display. The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon processor running at 1GHz, that should make it one of the most powerful phones in the market right now.
Other features include quad band GSM support, 3G HSPDA 7.2 MBPS, HSUPA, wi-fi, a five mega pixel camera, GPS, bluetooth, USB – the works.
What is not so exciting is the limited 512 MB space storage. While expansion is definitely possible by an SD card, we suspect that is not going to be enough at all. What makes the deal space more tolerable is the addition of a 3.5 MM headphone jack. The Acer Liquid A1 phone is definitely a good looker, so it really sad if the stakes do not really match up to its promise.
The Acer Liquid A1 will be available in three colours-black, white and red. There is no information on whether the smartphone would make it into India.
