Acer launches Aspire One netbook, two other notebooks

Acer has launched Aspire One D255-2520 netbook, Aspire AS7741G-3647 notebook and Intel Sandy Bridge powered Aspire 7750G.

Acer Aspire One D255-2520 netbook

The new Acer netbook features 1GB/2GB (max) 667 MHz DDR2 SD RAM and 10.1 inches of WSVGA LED backlit display screen that offers a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The Aspire One D255-2520 is powered with a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N455 processor. The Acer Aspire One netbook comes preloaded with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition operating system and includes Microsoft Office 2010. The D255-2520 comes with 160GB, 5400 rpm hard disk drive. The Acer Aspire One netbook supports Intel GMA 3150 dynamic video memory technology 4.0. Further, it includes Intel NM10 Express chipset and 1.3 megapixel webcam. Other features of the new netbook include L2 cache, multimedia card and SD memory card. Acer Aspire One D255-2520 netbook also comes with Wireless LAN, 3 Hi-speed USB ports, VGA port and High definition audio.

For music lovers, Acer Aspire One D255-2520 comes with in-built stereo microphone and Stereo speakers. The netbook supports a 6 cell lithium ion battery that provided up to 8 hours of run time. It comes with 1-year parts and labor and 1-year Traveler warranty. Acer Aspire One D255-2520 netbook comes with a price tag of about $300.

Acer Aspire AS7741G-3647 notebook

The Aspire AS7741G notebook features a 17.3-inch TFT LCD with LED blacklight display screen. It is powered with 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5-450M processor. The laptop comes preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 operating system. It also includes Acer Crystal Eye 1.3 megapixel webcam. Mobile Intel HM55 Express chipset is packed onto Acer Aspire AS7741G-3647 notebook.

Measuring 16.3 x 10.8 x 1.1 inches in dimension, Acer Aspire AS7741G-3647 weighs only 7.3 pounds. Moreover, the laptop supports 4GB DDR3 SDRAM memory and has 500GB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive. It also supports Acer CineCrystal technology and comes preloaded with Discrete ATI Mobility Radeon HD5650 graphic controller. In addition, the Aspire AS7741G-3647 notebook comes with integrated high definition Audio CODEC.

For connectivity, Acer Aspire AS7741G-3647 notebook supports 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN and Gigabit LAN. Other features of the laptop include built-in speakers and microphone, 3 x USB 2.0 ports, 1x VGA port and 1x HDMI port.

Acer Aspire AS7741G-3647 notebook comes with the price tag of about $750 along with 1-year warranty.

Sandy Bridge powered Acer Aspire 7750G

Acer’s new Intel Sandy Bridge powered notebook Aspire 7750G  is preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium and Office 2010 Starter operating system. The laptop features 17.3-inch LED-backlit screen with resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. Acer Aspire 7750G comes with a Blu-ray drive and Acer Crystal Eye 1.3MP HD webcam. Connectivity options include 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet. Furthermore, the laptop is equipped with Mobility Radeon HD 6550/6650 graphics and supports up to 750GB hard drive. The Aspire 7750G includes up to 8GB RAM memory.

An interesting feature of Acer Aspire 7750G notebook is that it utilizes clear.fi technology, which helps the user in connecting to other Acer devices such as smartphone, laptops without the need of Internet. Furthermore, it provides Dolby Advanced Audio v2 virtual surround sound and has HDMI output which helps to connect the notebook with external devices such as monitor, HDTV, etc.

Acer Aspire 7750G comes with a price tag of $ 1,030.
