Acer has launched two new netbooks, the Aspire One AO751h and the Aspire One AOD250, on May 18, 2009.

The Acer Aspire One AO751h netbook sports an 11.6-inch high definition screen and a full-sized keyboard. The netbook comes with a WXGA CrystalBrite LED-backlit screen that has a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Both the Acer Aspire One netbooks come with a multi-gesture touchpad that enables users to navigate and scroll through various windows, documents and websites, with ease.
The Acer Aspire One AO751h netbook is slim and very portable, suitable for customers who are frequent travelers.
Sumit Agnihotry, vice president of product management for Acer America said, “As the worldwide leader in the netbook market, we designed our new 11.6-inch AO751h after careful consideration about how customers use and most enjoy their netbooks.”
He said that they expect the larger display and keyboard of the Acer Aspire A0751h will be a game-changer for mobile customers who want the ultimate mobile device.
The Acer Aspire One AO751h has an Intel Atom Processor Z520 (1.22GHz, 490MHz FSB, 512KB L2 Cache). It comes with Microsoft Windows XP Home and a 1024MB DDR2 533 MHz SDRAM Single Channel Memory.
This netbook has a fantastic battery back-up and runs on the 6-cell Li-ion Battery (5200mAh). Along with a Multi-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader, the laptop features a Dedicated SD card and has three USB ports giving the user access to various hardwares.
The Acer Aspire One AO751h netbook also features a VMedia drive (located on the left of the trackpad) to read the small 32mm Blu-ray format.
The other features of the The Acer Aspire One AO751h netbook include Acer Crystal Eye Web Camera, two built-in stereo speakers, and Acer InviLink 802.11b/g Wi-Fi for internet connectivity.
Measuring 11.18″ (W) x 7.79″ (D) x 1″ (H), the netbook comes in Sapphire Blue, at a retail price of $379.99, that is approximately Rs 18,2883.
The smaller Acer Aspire One AOD250 notebook, on the other hand, comes with a 10.1-inch LED screen with a 16:9 display ratio and resolution of 1024×600.
Unlike the Acer Aspire One AO751h, the Acer Aspire One AOD250 -1042 has an Intel Atom Processor N270 (1.60GHz, 533MHz FSB, 512KB L2 Cache), and runs on a 3-cell Li-ion Battery (2600 mAh).
The Acer Aspire One AOD250 netbook features three USB ports and two built-in stereo speakers.
The netbook has multi-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader, 160GB SATA 5400RPM Hard Drive, 1024MB DDR2 533 MHz SDRAM Single Channel Memory and the Acer Crystal Eye Web Camera similar to the Acer Aspire One AO751h netbook.
The Acer Aspire One AOD250 netbook measures 10.17″ (W) x 7.24″ (D) x 1″ (H) and weighs only 2.44 pounds.
The Acer Aspire One AO250 netbook is available in Ruby Red, with a price tag of $298.00, that is approximately Rs 14,338.
Acer has shipped 1.8 million devices in the first quarter of 2009 and has captured 30.5 percent of the netbook market worldwide.
