Acer has announced its ultraportable Acer Aspire AS1410 notebook.

The Acer Aspire AS1040 is just one-inch-thin and weighs 3.08 pounds but has a full size keyboard.
The notebook, that looks more like a netbook, will be available in end-2009, at a price of $400, and will come in three colors, Diamond Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red.
The Acer Aspire AS1040 notebook has a 11.6-inch widescreen HD LED display screen, 16:9 aspect ratio, multitouch trackpad, and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD.
The Acer Aspire AS1040 notebook is powered by an Intel Celeron processor and has 2GB DDR2 memory, expandable to 4GB.
The notebook runs the new Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and has a 250GB hard drive.
The Acer Aspire AS1040 notebook comes with a 6-cell Lithium Ion battery that offers six hours of battery life.
Other features include a built-in Acer Crystal Eye webcam, two integrated stereo speakers and Dolby Sound Room audio enhancement.
There is also an multi-in-one media reader, HDMI port, three USB 2.0 ports, and Intel 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N Wireless and Gigabit Ethernet LAN for easy access to the web.
