The pricing of the Tata Indigo Marina has been a
surprise for the Indian automobile market and analysts
who were predicting a price range of 5.5 lakh approx.
It seems that Tata Motors has carefully watched
previous failures in the Indian estate/ station wagon
market and decided to price the Marina aggressively. If
the plan works out, the Marina may well turn out to be
India's most successful estate car so far.
