Canadian Education Center organizes exciting events for aspiring students

If you are a student considering studying in Canada, visit the Canadian Education for some exciting events in April 2005

 


 

The Canadian Education Center (CEC) has invited students interested in studying in Canada to visit them and participate in some exciting events in the first half of April. CEC will be welcoming students at all levels of education through information sessions, application assessment and forwarding to Canadian educational institutions.

On Monday April 11, 2005, Science students in the 12th or those who have completed their BSc, as well as working professionals in the health care industry will have the opportunity to meet with Ms. Joan Laurie, Director International Education & Special Projects, The Michener Institute. 

The Michener Institute, located in Toronto, Canada, is a world-class post secondary institution in the field of applied health sciences. Students can apply for the following programs: Medical Laboratory Science diploma, Respiratory Therapy Diploma, Ultrasound Advanced Diploma, Cardiovascular Perfusion Advanced Diploma. In addition to small class sizes, dedicated faculty and state of the art technology, Michener also provides students with clinical work placements, which greatly enhances their chances for employment after graduation. All the programs are accredited by the Canadian Medical Association.

Friday, April 15, 2005, is NOVA SCOTIA DAY at CEC. This will be a great opportunity for outgoing and current 12th class students in India and their parents to find out about universities and colleges in the picturesque province of Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia is one of 10 provinces in Canada which apart from having premier educational institutions boasts of spectacular scenery, dynamic arts & cultural environment, a competitive business climate - all the ingredients for a promising and rewarding future in Canada! CEC will be offering gift hampers and prizes for those who participate. Indian students can also schedule a one on one appointment with a CEC counsellor post event to have their application evaluated.
