Miss Germany Shermine Sharivar is Miss Europe 2005

March 21: Miss Germany Shermine Sharivar has won the Miss Europe 2005  competition held in Paris, France. The 22-year-old Miss Germany of Iranian origin is 1.74 metre tall, and has finished her university studies. Shermine Sharivar speaks German, Farsi, English and French. Her hobbies include horse-riding and swimming.

The first runner-up was Lusine Tovmasyan of Armenia, second runner-up was Cindy Fabre of France, and the 3rd and 4th runner-ups were Laura Shields of England and Tatiana Krcmeryova  of Slovakia.

The contest was beamed live t0 over 50 countries. Among the judges of the competition were singer Charles Aznavour and couturier Paco Rabanne.
