Sarika is the best actress for her role in ‘Parzania’, though Rani Mukherji was widely tipped to be the best actress for her role in Black. Sarika bagged the award for her role as a Parsi mother hit by the Gujarat communal riots.

The I&B Ministry may move the SC against the verdict, it is learnt.

Short films, which were uncensored, made by Patwardhan and three others directors have been included in the non-feature film category.
