Goldkist International announces South East Asia’s first Mobile Training Academy in Delhi

4 August, 2005: Goldkist Group of Singapore, leading distributor of O2, Sony Ericsson, Watch Data and Lexmark, has set up South East Asia’s first Mobile Technology Academy in Delhi to provide training in the field of mobile phone technology, sales & marketing and management.
Goldkist Mobile Academy (GMA) offers a one-year honors diploma program in mobile technology and management covering technical overview of mobile technology, hardware, servicing of handsets, sales & marketing, channel development, research & development, advertising and practically many more.
The idea to set up a world-class institute to impart training in mobile technology in India was conceived by H.D. Gupta, an NRI-based in Singapore, who is the Managing Director of Goldkist International (S) Pte Ltd.
“Mobile phone industry is the industry of present and future. Our educated youth needs to have the latest training in the knowledge-based technology. For such a huge industry, there is no such institute for imparting practical and relevant training in mobile phone technology in the country presently,” Mr. H.D.Gupta, Managing Director of Goldkist International, said.
