Take everything on this page with a pinch of salt - these
are all unsubstantiated rumours and speculation on the Half
Blood Prince- except where we say its true.

Potter rumours
he Harry Potter series author, JK Rowling says that someone will switch houses in the 6th book.
Many fans think it will be I think it will be Draco Malfoy, and
that he will become friends with Harry. The reasoning goes
thus - Draco Malfoy doesn't particularly like his father,so
this is possible, right? There is no confirmation on this from
anyone so far.
There is speculation that there is no 'live' half-blood
prince - that the name refers to someone who died long back.
That is unlikely - it is not often that an author names a book
after someone who has died. So in all probability, yes, there
will be a real, live Half Blood Prince.
Here is some interesting information from JK Rowling on the
book itself: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince's three
chapter titles have now been revealed by the author herself.
They are:
Chapter 2 of the Half Blood Prince: Spinners End
Chapter 6 of the Half Blood Prince: Draco’s Detour
Chapter 14 of the Half Blood Prince: Felix Flicius
It is also confirmed that the number of pages will be 672
pages.
The author has already said that the Half-Blood Prince is neither Harry nor
Voldemort.
There are two questions which JK Rowling would like us to
think about, speculate, guess, whatever.. they are:
1. Why didn't Voldemort die when he tried to kill Harry?
2. Why didn't Dumbledore try to kill Voldemort in that scene
at the end of book five?
Hmm, we think that there is some way in which Voldemort and
Harry Potter are connected - perhaps they can't be killed -
their lives are intertwined. Quite possible. Perhaps more on
that will be revealved inthe Half Blood Prince.
