Just who Is the Half-Blood Prince?
8 July, 2005: We don't know. But it seems there was an online poll, and the publisher Scholastic has revealed the results.
Okay, we at dancewithshadows.com have received several mails suggesting who the mysterious Half Blood Prince in the latest Harry Potter book is. Seems no one has any real clue, but lots of guess are there. We are in the same boat, too.
ASnyway, it seems there was some kind of online poll on who the Half Blood Prince might be, and the results of that poll have just been released by Scholastic.
Of all those who participated, 43 % believe that the half Blood Prince is a new character to be introduced in Harry Potter Book Six.
Neville Longbottom it is, said 9 % of the voters - and that number was matched by Godric Gryffindor. So we have two second place suspects.
Here are the votes received by the other potential Half Blood Prince characters: Seamus Finnigan (8%), Professor Dumbledore (7%), Professor Snape (6%), Hagrid (5%), Dean Thomas (3%), Professor Lupin (3%), Ron Weasley (3%), Draco Malfoy (3%) and Sirius Black (2%).
Now, we all will have to hold on tight for the mystery to be revealed on July 16, 2005. hang in there tight, boys!
