I admire the reporter's refusal to change "swine flu" to H1N1. We need to be reminded of the connection between disease and widespread infection present in large-scale pig, cow, and chicken production. Sanitizing language and turning a blind eye to the root causes will only result in more suffering (for both human and non-human animals).
