Batman is the ultimo gadget-geek. Obvious. Batarang, Bat-pod, Batmobile — the works. The Batcave - the ultimate nerdboy fantasy.
But in the few angst-less moments that Bruce Wayne gets, even he needs to wind down. Watch an uplifting movie, like the Kung Fu Panda. Kung Fu is second nature. So to watch the movie, where would Batman retire to?
To the Batcave Home Theater!

For those without Bat-like vision and would like to clearly see what the hell is all those dark corners full off, here are the same images, auto-leveled and much clearer.

Stalactites in front of the screen?

What’s with the stalactites hanging in front of the screen? That would drive me nuts (not to mention I don’t like the idea of heavy, spear-like objects falling on my head).
Other than that - cool!

I don’t think that’s the point knucklehead.

But your mother does, media kingdom. She does indeed.

there are stalagmites in front of the giant screen! lame.

I am not a fan of Batman but that’s fucking awesome! I bet the acoustics would be better if it was done in a Superman fortress of solitude motif.

Agreed about the acoustics. Too much uneven reflection.
Also (and I hate to be a pedant) the term “Bat-like vision” used in this article implies bats can see well in the dark. Ever heard the saying “blind as a bat”?
